Welcome to high aesthetic

My name is Michael! My daughter calls me Baba. Professionally, I’m High Aesthetic. Call me whatever!

For nearly two decades, I‘ve delivered experience-focused marketing & sales strategies to help brands of all sizes communicate clearly with their intended customers & grow sustainably.

My experience spans freelance consulting, agency leadership, retail operations, & hands-on work in niche industries like cannabis, tattoos, alcohol, restaurants, & more.

Today, I channel all that overlapping knowledge to exceed expectations & benchmarks on my clients’ most critical metrics.

so Who is Baba?

Since my freshman year of college, I’ve worked multiple jobs. They call it “Gig Work” now, but for me, it was always about survival.

Starting way back in 2009, before Instagram ever existed, I’ve regularly combined marketing, sales, & operations to benefit niche clients, tell their stories, & boost their reputations.

Along the way, I owned & sold a tattoo shop (a decade ago!), launched my own & clients’ brands, named local restaurants & international products, & helped brands grow plenty.

Curious how all of that experience turns into real work?

If you’re here, there’s a good chance you care about the details! Especially if you need to focus on other areas.

Maybe you're building a brand, shaping an idea, or trying to do something a little better than the usual playbook.

That’s the kind of work I’ve spent the last twenty years around, and I’m always looking for more work!
